The research theme is the realisation of non corrosive biotechnology-based decontaminants of chemical and biological agents where the activity plan is splited into two main objectives: the Isolation of microorganism able to metabolize the corrosive molecules; and the Preparation of prototype aqueous solutions for decontamination.
Moreover, the project schedule both secondary and tertiary modeling of amino-acids sequences and the location of possible interaction sites between proteins and chemical – biological aggressive molecules, together with the computational modeling of the same interaction.
