The Project fostered technological matters and exploited IT targeted to the biopharmaceutical sector, foreseeing these main activities:
1. development of platforms for biopharmaceuticals:
- set up of tools for modelling of 3D proteins structures and selection of protein receptor sites,
- generation of virtual libraries section and evaluation of molecular descriptors,
- Docking energies evaluation,
- Application of a bayesian network model for the virtual libraries data analysis;

2. development of the DIA-BAYES diagnostic platform:
- selection of the best computational model for statistic analysis and inference of molecular docking data provided by DELOS and integration of the BAYES library elements,
- design of clinical database structure most suitable to its use in integrated systems of clinical/diagnostic data statistical inference,
- extraction and systematisation of the BAYES library elements to set up the expert system targeted to the clinical data analysis and to the subsequent diagnostic inference,
- experimentation and validation of DIA-BAYES upon clinical cases library, already (2004) available and reliable for a long time period;

3. Vocational training path for biopharmaceutical industries and hospital representatives;

4. Design and realisation of a range of multimedia tools for presenting new information science methodologies for the biopharmaceutical research and the support to the medical diagnosis.
