Leonardo

The Leonardo da Vinci vocational training action programme, introduced by the European Union in 1994, since January 1st, 2000 has entered its second phase which will last until December 31st, 2006.

This programme actively supports the lifelong training policies conducted by the Member States. It supports innovative transnational initiatives for promoting the knowledge, aptitudes and skills necessary for successful integration into working life and the full exercise of citizenship, and affords scope for links with other Community initiatives - particularly the Socrates and Youth programmes - by supporting joint actions.

On January 1st, 2002 Milano Ricerche concluded its more than decennial experience in the organisation and management of COMETT and Leonardo da Vinci Placements programmes so, if you need information on this subject, you should now refer to the Leonardo da Vinci National Agency.
