2009 March to April meetings in Monza and Milano for definition of wp2, wp3 wp7 activities (PA, CMR, IMJ).

March to July in Palermo, Napoli, Catanzaro, Genova, Rome. Held in Italian pilot sites of SIDIP project in order to present JUMAS project (objectives, forecast activities) and collect audio-video-text judicial materials for the WP2, WP3 activities. Presentations to judicial officers. (PA, IMJ, CNIPA).

Several meetings in Wroclaw (Poland) with the Court of Wroclaw for audio, video, information retrieval and JUMAS prototype (ESAPROJEKT, SOW).

February 6. Meeting in Milano for defining specification of the audio baseline (FBK, PA, CMR).

March 26–27, in Milano for checking the equipment used to acquire the baseline in the Court Rooms. (FBK, PA).

April 23-24-25. Budapest (Hungary) Preparatory meeting for the review meeting, review meeting with the Commission, follow up and coordination meeting the day after the review. (all partners including DISCO (University of Milano Bicocca).

September 21, in Budapest (Hungary). Definition of video analysis and information retrieval functions for the Polish test site (MTA-SZTAKI, SOW).

September 24-25, in Skopje (FYR Macedonia) Participation to ICT4JUSTICE 2009 and coordination meeting (PA, FBK, EML, EML-R, RWTH, CERTH-ITI, CNIPA, MTA-SZTAKI, ESAPROJEKT).

October 6-7, Monza (Italy) Definition of the JUMAS integrated prototype architecture. (PA, ESAPROJEKT)

Soon in the civil courts protocols will only be in the form of audio-video recording

On Tuesday, the Government has adopted a draft law introducing the e-protocol in civil courts. Perhaps since July 1 protocol will only audio-video recording of the hearing. Written protocol will be the exception. Film of the processes but rather not see on YouTube, because I only get the audio recording. There will be no recordings or transcripts.

The Competitiveness and Innovation Framework Programme (CIP) was adopted on 24th October 2006 by Decision N.1639/2006/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council (the “Programme Decision”). This Community programme runs for the years 2007-2013 and is organised around three specific programmes: 1– The Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme (EIP); 2– The Information and Communication Technologies Policy Support Programme (ICT PSP); 3– The Intelligent Energy-Europe Programme (IEEP). The detailed activities to be supported by the three specific programmes each year are described in three separate Work Programmes.
